Verse of the Day

AMOS 3:7

“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

“But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

•I TIMOTHY 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

We believe in a life of Holiness unto the Lord and a true desire to walk daily in the path of righteousness as laid out in the Bible.

A New nature, a New Creature in Christ.

A Born Again relationship, not a religious formality. Our walk with God is a continual growth, yielding daily to the Lord Jesus Christ as he directs our lives

Our Lord Jesus Christ never went to any Bible School, or was subject to the manmade religion of the day.

Likewise the disciples of the Lord Jesus were ALL ignorant and unlearned men who never went to Bible School or were subject to the manmade system of the day.

Paul, who replaced Judas as the Twelfth Apostle who was raised under the religious system of the day came out of the system to become a true servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ was born for His calling as are all God called men as well.

At 12 years old he confounded the doctors with His wisdom and understanding of the scriptures

At 30 years old He began his public ministry, God confirming His Word with signs following.

MATTHEW 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

MATTHEW 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

MARK 1:22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

MATTHEW 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

MATTHEW 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

MATTHEW 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

MATTHEW 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

MATTHEW 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

MATTHEW 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

MATTHEW 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

LUKE 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

LUKE 4:15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

LUKE 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

LUKE 4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

LUKE 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

LUKE 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

LUKE 4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

LUKE 4:21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

ACTS 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

ACTS 2:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

ACTS 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

ACTS 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

ACTS 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

ACTS 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

ACTS 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

I CORINTHIANS 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

I CORINTHIANS 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

GALATIANS 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

GALATIANS 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

GALATIANS 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

GALATIANS 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

GALATIANS 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

GALATIANS 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

GALATIANS 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

GALATIANS 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

GALATIANS 1:14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

GALATIANS 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

GALATIANS 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

GALATIANS 1:17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

I TIMOTHY 4:11 These things command and teach.

I TIMOTHY 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

I TIMOTHY 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

I TIMOTHY 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

I TIMOTHY 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

I TIMOTHY 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

We can’t serve God and man at the same time.

God’s order is that each local Church is sovereign in itself accountable only to God, and to each other as unto the Lord.

The Pastor is the highest order in his own local assembly, and is responsible for being led by God to bring the messages specific to his own local congregation.

He is responsible for the spiritual wellbeing of his own local congregation and to prayerfully guide all ministry functions of the local Church, ie music ministry, Sunday School, etc. to insure all remain scriptural and in Godly order.
